Your First Visit
Dr. Kevin Poupore and his team are firmly committed to giving their patients the very best in dental care. Each patient is valued and respected, and the team takes the time needed to truly understand questions and concerns. Dr. Poupore understands that many people experience some degree of dental anxiety, so he and his team strive to make each patient comfortable through every step of their dental visits. Dr. Poupore and his staff very much look forward to meeting new patients, so feel free to call anytime to arrange a visit.
What to Expect
for Your First Visit:
Adult Dental Care
During the initial visit with Dr. Poupore, all of the following will be done.
- Full mouth x-ray imaging
- Review of medical history
- Discussion of any current dental issues or concerns
- A complete dental exam
- Screening for oral cancer
- Discussion and explanation of any treatments that may be needed
- Discussion of payment options with financial coordinator Michelle Marlow and Kristin Legacy
Dr. Poupore does not believe in over scheduling his patients. He wants to make sure that each new patient has the full time needed to get the very best and most thorough care. Generally, a new patient exam will take just under an hour. Dr. Poupore and his entire team want to help patients have healthy teeth and gums, now and for their entire lifetime.
Children and Teenagers
Dr. Poupore recommends that children have their first visit to the dentist when they turn three. During this first visit, children will spend most of the time with either Krissy Tremblay or Danielle LaBar, both of whom are state-certified Registered Dental Hygienists. Krissy and Danielle are both patient and compassionate. They know exactly how to make the first visit as relaxing as possible for young patients. During a child’s first visit, all of the following will occur.
- Full mouth x-ray imaging
- Discussion of any current dental concerns or issues
- A complete dental exam
- Teeth cleaning and polishing
- Discussion and explanation of any treatments that may be needed
- Discussion of payment options with financial coordinator Michelle Marlow
